First National Center

Three buildings wrapped into one refurbished development, the buildings are products of the 1930s, 1950s and 1970s. The old First National Bank building (1930s) was built in the days of Bonnie and Clyde and the two story grand lobby still had the “sharp shooter” balconies on 3 sides of the upper level of the bank lobby. Each Juliette balcony was outfitted with a gun rack that could hold 5-10 rifles presumably to take care of anyone who would attempt to rob the bank. The then bank lobby is now the hotel lobby and lobby bar. The old bank vault has been converted into a speak-easy style bar and lounge. The upper floors of the 32 story mini-Empire State Building are rental multi-family while the lower floors are hotel rooms in the Marriott Autograph brand line.
